35th Annual Kennet Jaycee Show-Me State Barbecue Cook Off

  • Kennett, Mo United States

On May 27th & 28th, 2016, the Kennett Jaycees will be holding our 35th Annual Kennett Jaycee Show-Me State Barbecue Cook-off, carnival, and demolition derby. This event is a major source of funding for the Kennett Jaycees for our various charitable and community projects, including our Good Neighbors Project, Fred Calhoun Scholarship, and our annual partnership with Toys for Tots. The purpose of the Kennett Jaycees is to be a force for good in the surrounding community, to determine community needs and provide solutions by planning and facilitating community service projects.

This year's Cook Off will again feature an excellent carnival from Wednesday through Saturday, live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and the demolition derby to cap the weekend off on Saturday night!

This even provides the City of Kennett with a significant amount of tourism from people outside the Kennett area who frequent our local businesses during this time. Organizing, planning and funding the Cook Off is a major undertaking in which the Kennett, Jaycees would not be able to perform without the generous contributions from area businesses, organizations, and individuals.

We are asking that you consider becoming a sponsor for the 35th Annual Kennett Jaycee Show-Me State Barbecue Cook Off. We are offering two different sponsorship packages, Major Sponsorship for $500.00 and Associate Sponsorship for $250.00.

Portions of these sponsorship donations are tax deductible and are greatly needed and appreciated. If you would be interested in being a sponsor for this important event, please call (573) 344-1711, or you may forward your donation to the address above.

If you have any questions or would like to inquire about other ways in which you could help support or participate in this event, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Lee Atwill
Kennett Jaycee BBQ Cook Off Chairman
