Classes are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Open to the public at no cost students must preregister online at http://mdc.mo.gov

Students must bring proof of completion of a knowledge portion of the hunter education course.

Students must bring a sharpened pencil and black ink pen.

Students should bring money for food sold by the Legion Hall

The Poplar Bluff Parks Department is accepting registrations for youth girl's volleyball for 3rd and 4th grades and 5th and 6th grade.  The deadline is March 15th and the registration fee is $10.00.  Registration forms are available online or can be picked up at the Park and Recreation Department office located at 430 North Second Street.

NHC of Kennett's 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament April 27, 2019

Door open at 9:00 AM — Tournament starts at 10:00 AM.

Team Entry Fee $25 per person — $75 per team. The entry fee includes a free T-Shirt for each team member.

Team Members must be ages 16 and up. Double Elimination Tournamnet amd deadline for Entry is March 25th, 2019.

The University of Missouri Extension of Butler County is hosting an Alzheimer’s 101 class every 4th Thursday of the month from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Extension office. This class will discuss some of the signs and symptoms, benefits of early diagnosis, and activities that benefit brain health. This class requires a $10 registration fee.

The Stars and Stripes Museum and Library Drive for your Community

Please come and help The Stars and Stripes Museum reach it's goal of $8.000 for new exhibits and repairs.  We need 350 people to come by the Dexter Elks Lodge on Saturday, May 19th between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm to test drive a Ford vehicle.  Must be at least 18 years old to participate.  This fundraiser will not cost you anything but will help The Stars and Stripes Museum continue to be a free museum and operate 5 days a week.

Coach Pitch Registration Open

Coach Pitch is for any boy or girl who will be 6 years old but who will not turn 8 years old before August 1, 2018. A requirement is for their family to live, work, or own property in Poplar Bluff.  A birth certificate must be submitted for all first-year participants at time of registration and for other participants upon request. The fee is $10. Games will be played on Saturday mornings, weather permitting, at McLane Park.

Junior Tennis Program Registration Open

The Junior Tennis Program is for any boy or girl who will be entering kindergarten through eighth grade. The program will run May 29 through June 7. Grades K-1 will be held 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Grades 2-3 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Grades 4-5 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Grades 6 to 8 from 10:45 a.m. to noon. Actual times will be determined by number of participants in each age group. The program will be held at the Poplar Bluff High School tennis courts. Fee is $15.00 plus one unopened can of Penn or Wilson tennis balls. Participants must provide their own tennis racket and should bring drinking water to each class. All clinics will be aimed towards beginning to intermediate players.
