We've Caught Wind that Denver Broncos Enforce 'Fart Tax'

If there's one thing that is more guaranteed than touchdowns in the NFL season, it would be NFL fines. Whether it be for an illegal hit to the helmet or violating differ policies, the fines come fast and they come often.

But(t), we were a little shocked to hear that the Denver Broncos' Von Miller revealed to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post that he has been taxed multiple times for farting in meetings.

Top 5 Worst Fast Food Tattoos

We all could probably use a little less fast food in our diet, but these people could use a little less fast food on their skin. Here's our Top 5 Worst Fast Food Tattoos!

5. Hamburgler
The tattoo itself is actually done pretty well, but still, come on!

4. Bucket-O-Chicken
We can't tell if this chicken is so immaculate that it has a glowing aura, or if the bucket is a cool guy walking away from an explosion. Also why does the Colonel look like Morgan Freeman?

3. The Big Fan
Tattoos can be a great way to connect with other fans of your favorite sports team, but this Louisville Cardinal fan is going to have a hard time meeting a girl who doesn't just love the Cardinals as much as he does, but loves little square burgers as well.

2. Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo
Where do you want to eat?

1.  Tax Deductible
This could have possibly been a business expense that he didn't want to forget, but probably not.

Cavaliers Apologize for Domestic Violence in Promo Video

When the Cleveland Cavaliers shared a video to promote the playoff series against the Chicago Bulls, they probably didn't expect the backlash that they received. Though, they should have.

Domestic violence has never been under the microscope in our society as it is today. Which made it all the more surprising that nobody pulled the plug on the Cavs' promo video, featuring a man throwing his girlfriend across the room for wearing the wrong shirt.

The backlash warranted a response and apology from the Cleveland based team.

"While the video was not intended to be offensive, it was a mistake to include content that made light of domestic violence. Domestic violence is a very serious matter and has no place in a parody video that plays in an entertainment venue. We sincerely apologize to those who have been affected by domestic violence for the obvious negative feelings caused by being exposed to this insensitive video."

Southern Bank Announces Topping Out Event at New Bank Headquarters

(MAY 11, 2015 – POPLAR BLUFF, MO) Southern Bank proudly announces a Topping Out celebration for the new Southern Bank headquarters to be located on the corner of Oak Grove Road and Shelby Road in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The celebration is scheduled for May 19th at 4:00 p.m.

“It’s a tradition in construction to mark the point when the last steel beam is placed at the top of a new structure. We’d like for the community to join us in celebrating this milestone of the new Southern Bank headquarters and as a reflection of our community’s continued growth,” said Greg Steffens, President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Bank.

The Topping Out celebration will begin at 4:00 p.m. and be held at the construction site of the new Southern Bank headquarters on the corner of Oak Grove Road and Shelby Road. Speakers from the bank and the business community will speak to honor the occasion, with flags being placed at the top of the steel structure.

“Our continued success depends on the support of the communities we serve, therefore we want to share our progress with the community.” said Steffens.

Southern Bank was originally chartered in 1887 as a mutual institution in Poplar Bluff. Since then, Southern Bank has celebrated many milestones including expansion into neighboring communities, converting from a mutual ownership to a publicly traded stock company, and acquisitions of financial institutions in Missouri and Arkansas. The bank’s most recent acquisition was Peoples Bank of the Ozarks, which included 10 facilities in southwest Missouri. When completed, the new Southern Bank will be considered the headquarters for the bank’s now 35 branches spread across Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas.

Top 5 Movie Moms

With Mother's Day right around the corner, Fox Radio Network decided to take a look back at some of our favorite mothers in movie history. It was extremely hard to narrow down our list of favorites, but as long as we tried our best, we think our mother's would be proud of us!

OUR TOP 5

5. Beatrice Henderson - Mother (1996)

The term "parent's just don't understand" is perfectly epitomized by Beatrice Henderson in the Albert Brooks film, Mother. Debbie Reynolds' portrayal of the mother struggling to keep up with the times can be extremely aggravating, but also undeniably endearing.

4. Mrs. Gump- Forrest Gump (1994)

"Life's a box of chocolates, Forrest. You never know what you're gonna get."
Mrs. Gump may have been a simple southern belle, but her easy-to-understand tidbits of wisdom helped to guide Forrest Gump to be the greatest man in (fake) American History.

3. Sarah Connor- Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)

She might not be the type of mom that would give you a nice warm hug after a long day of school. She'd more than likely be the type of mom that would beat up the kid that was bullying you. How can you blame her though? Not many women have to worry about Austrian robots from the future trying to kill her. Not only does she have to protect her son and herself, but the entirety of the human race is in her hands. You can't help but cheer for a mom who has got a lot on her plate.

3. Aurora Greenway- Terms of Endearment (1983)

Disagreements are typically not fun to deal with, especially when they involve someone you love. Though it may seem like mom just doesn't want you to be happy at times, but more often than not, the bitterness comes from a deep source of love and concern.

1. Edna Spalding - Places in the Heart (1984)

It can be really hard to notice the sacrifices a mother makes and how hard a mother has to work. Very few mothers have done more for their family as Edna Spalding. Sally Field's portrayal of the mother who is willing to do whatever it takes for the family to survive earned her an Oscar in 1985. We like you Sally Field. Right now, we like you.

Did you're favorite movie mom make our list? Who would you put on the list? Let us know!

Hydro Adventures Makes An Even Bigger Splash in 2015 with Lower Prices and New, Exciting Rides

(Poplar Bluff, MO April 15, 2015) It’s almost time for another summer of fun at Hydro Adventures. The Ship’s Captain, Jack Falfas, has brought a tidal wave of new amusement for Hydro Adventure’s second year. “We’ve really upped the ante for year two. Lots of new rides and attractions will mean even more fun for the whole family!” said Falfas. The aquatic adventure embarks on Saturday, May 23 during Memorial Day Weekend.

With year one such a success at Hydro, the team wanted to show its appreciation to their guests. Regular Single Day Admission has been discounted $5 from last year, now just $24.95. Junior and Senior Admissions will stay at a low price of $19.95 and kids under 32 inches receive free admission.  Season Passes are just $54.95 until May 26, and Junior Season Passes are just $39.95.

Year two is all about showing appreciation to park guests, and making sure their wave of fun never breaks. Mr. Falfas explained, “Not only have we added several new attractions, but we actually lowered our prices. This year we are giving our guests more for less money.”

Aside from the price drop, one of the additions for year two is an entire new Midway filled with fun family rides known as “hard rides” in the amusement industry, like the Tiger Coaster or Tailpipe Alley.  They’re not water rides.  Just good, old-fashioned, endless laughter amusement park rides.

Park guests can surf the wave of fun beyond just rides. They can test their skill at games like the Missouri Bombers home run challenge or the Triple Threat 3-point basketball shoot around.  They can also let their cares float away in one of the relaxing poolside cabanas. Hydro Adventures is also readily equipped to book guest’s parties and groups of any size. More rides and attractions are being planned for 2016 and beyond.

Apart from guest experience, Hydro Adventures takes safety and cleanliness very seriously. The park is filled with thoroughly trained and dedicated lifeguards. Coupling that with crystal clear water and sparkling clean facilities, all guests can be assured to have a fun and safe day at Hydro Adventures.

Hydro Adventures officially opens Memorial Day Weekend. Saturday, May 23 will be the first full day of operation. Guests are asked to go to Hydro Adventures.com to get more information.

Mr. Falfas is proud of the park, but knows there’s more to go, “Year one was very much a learning process. We did a lot of things well, but we know there is always room to improve our park for our guests. We sincerely appreciate our guests and want Hydro Adventures to be every family’s ideal destination spot. But we aren’t done, there’s a lot more coming.”

Year one was wetter.  Year two is better at Hydro Adventures.

Press Release

“Our success depends on the support of our customers and the communities we serve, therefore we want to celebrate by giving back to those who have continually supported us,” said Greg Steffens, President and CEO of Southern Bank.

Southern Bank was originally chartered in 1887 as a mutual institution that was owned by its depositors. The original founders deposited $100,000 in the Poplar Bluff Loan and Building in order to provide financing to help people buy homes. The name was chosen to symbolize the original purpose.

Assets of the mutual institution grew slowly from $100,000 to $950,000 in 1951. Afterward, the institution started an impressive period of growth in which assets would increase to $23 million in 1969. The next phase of growth was partially due to expansion into neighboring communities.

On April 11, 1969, the institution opened its first branch in Dexter, Missouri, followed soon by other branches. At the end of 1979, assets had grown to $107 million. In 1982, an office in Van Buren, Missouri was acquired and it was during this period, the institution changed its name to Southern Missouri Savings and Loan.

In 1994, the institution completed a conversion from mutual ownership to a publicly traded stock company. By the year 2000, the bank's assets were $221 million and it adopted the name of Southern Missouri Bank.

Since 2000, Southern Bank has had an impressive amount of growth through the addition of new branches and the acquisitions of banking institutions located in Southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas.

Southern Bank is now a $1 billion financial institution, with 33 locations in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas.

Zayn Malik, Formerly of One Direction, Releases First Solo Song

Zayn Malik's leaving of One Direction was the pop music news that you couldn't get away from. We probably shouldn't have been surprised. We shouldn't be surprised from the crazed reaction from Directioners, and we shouldn't be surprised by Malik's leaving. History has proven that it is only a matter of time before an artist breaks away from their boy band to pursue a solo career.

What should surprise us, though, is how quickly Malik released material from his solo project. The new release " I Won't Mind" is not only literal departure of Malik from 1D, but also a departure of music style or genre. It appears the bubblegum pop may be gone from Malik's repertoire, and we here at Fox Radio Network are debating whether or not we can consider it better.

Better or not, we all agree that it this new song from Malik is different. The next question is whether or not Zayn Malik will be able to have a successful solo career.

Could Zayn Malik be the next Justin Timberlake, or will he be the next JC Chasez? If you're asking, "Who's JC Chasez?" that's the point.

What do you think about Zayn Malik's new music and style? Like it, love it, hate it, who's Zayn Malik?
