Friends of Music will continue its 2015-2016 season with a program of scared music performed by Bill and Sandy Hook on Sunday, February 28, 206, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 300 St. Francis St., in Kennett.

Kennett native Bill Hook holds a B.M.E. degree from Central Methodist College and an M.A. in Teaching degree from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs. Sandy Hook, a native of Spur, Texas, holds a Bachelor's degree in teaching from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. They have been performing church music together for over 45 years, and have been at First Baptist Church in Kennett for over 35 years, where Bill is music director and Sandy is the church pianist.

The all-sacred program will offer music performed by Bill and Sandy together and by Sandy as a piano soloist. Included in the program will be such familiar tunes as "Softly and Tenderly" and "Beulah Land," Chris Rice's "Come to Jesus," a piano setting of "It is Well with My Soul," Bill Gaither songs, and a medley of old hymn tunes.
